Affiliate Disclosure

    Last updated: January 2026

Welcome to nzpokies2018.com ("we," "us," or "our site"). We believe in full transparency with our readers, so please take a moment to read this Affiliate Disclosure carefully before using our website.

    1. We Earn Affiliate Commissions

nzpokies2018.com is an independent casino review and comparison website focused on online pokies for New Zealand players. Some of the links on this website are affiliate links. This means that if you click on one of these links and sign up, deposit, or play at an online casino we feature, we may receive a commission from that operator at no additional cost to you. These commissions are how we fund the operation of this website, including research, testing, and content creation.

    2. Commissions Do Not Influence Our Reviews

Our editorial integrity is not for sale. Affiliate commissions and commercial arrangements do not influence:

All reviews are based on our own research and testing criteria, including game selection, licensing, payout speed, customer support, bonuses, and player safety. Casinos that do not meet our standards may be rated poorly or excluded entirely, regardless of any commercial relationship.

    3. How to Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on nzpokies2018.com may appear as:

Where content or placement has been paid for or sponsored by an operator, it will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored," "Advertisement," or "Paid Placement" so you can always distinguish it from independent editorial content.

    4. New Zealand Compliance Statement

As a website directed at New Zealand readers, we aim to operate in line with the standards set by the New Zealand Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), including the ASA Advertising Standards Code requirement that advertising be clearly identifiable and not misleading. We also take into account the Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ), which prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct in trade, and we endeavour to ensure all claims, bonuses, and offers displayed on this site are accurate at the time of publication.

Please note that we are a review and information website only. We are not a gambling operator, and we do not accept wagers or deposits. Under the Gambling Act 2003 (NZ), online gambling services cannot be offered from within New Zealand; the offshore casinos featured on this site are operated by third parties licensed in their own jurisdictions.

    5. Your Responsibility as a Reader

By using this website, you acknowledge and agree that:

If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, free and confidential help is available in New Zealand through the Gambling Helpline (0800 654 655) and Choice Not Chance (choicenotchance.org.nz).
